I am really thankful to the Lord for NEHBC’s missionary zeal.
Just to provide a current snapshot of our missionary work: last Thursday, we shared the gospel through the Farrington Mission basketball ministry. Then, last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, through Beaumont mission trip I, NEHBC shared the gospel house-to-house in the Amelia community of Beaumont; an area in desperate need of the gospel. On Sunday, we went house-to-house with the gospel through Jericho Project. Monday night we shared the gospel through the food pantry and clothing closet of Farrington Mission. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week, we are sharing the gospel through Beaumont mission trip II’s backyard bible clubs. On top of all this, our members are living on mission, sharing the gospel with unbelievers as the Holy Spirit leads us “as we go” about our week.
I am thankful to belong to a local church that strongly emphasizes sound doctrine, intentional discipleship, and expository preaching inside the church AND a burning missionary zeal for taking the gospel to unbelievers in the public square. You may not know it, but to belong to a local church like this is a special blessing from the Lord to us and our families. I am really grateful.
Pray for fruit. Pray for candles to be lit this coming Sunday.
Jesus is Lord.
