Many questions I get as the pastor of NEHBC are not unique to just one person. Many people face the same struggles, don’t know how to face situations, need guidance in thinking biblically about a topic or just want to know what God thinks about something. I will take time to answer your questions on Tuesday afternoons. The best way to submit a question is via text to 24587. Type ASKNATHAN followed by your question and then look for the answer on Tuesdays.
Q: How many times have you read through the Bible?
A: I have not kept track of the number of times I’ve read through the Bible. The thing I do know is no matter how many times I have, I want to do it again. It never feels like enough, but the Lord set it up this way; the Word is spiritual food and the more we read it the bigger our appetite for it becomes. I’ve enjoyed discovering that each time I’ve read through the Bible it is a different experience.
One thing I believe is important is for a believer to have an intentional plan for spending time in the Bible. I recently gave ideas for spending time in God’s Word in Midweek Worship. Listen to that teaching time here.
